In a sentence
Follow Suit is solitaire where the cards carry words instead of suits, and a card stacks on another only when the two belong together.
Description
Follow Suit keeps what makes patience games satisfying — a tableau, a stock, foundations to fill — and swaps the suits for meaning. Every card is a word (or, from level 21, a picture), and every word belongs to one category: Croissant goes on Baguette, Tango on Waltz. Build runs of cards that belong together, open a category's pile with its Ace, and deliver its words home. Foundation slots are scarce, so a finished pile retires to make room for the next Ace, and choosing which category to open next is the strategy.
The 1,000 levels are the same for every player, from gentle Cakewalks to Super Hard bosses, with a move budget and an optional countdown clock. From level 501 some stacks must be delivered in order, Monday before Tuesday, and a player's first win at level 500 brings a one-time finale: 5,000 coins and a card back that can only be earned. Twelve Theme Packs add 240 more levels, among them the Time Machine, which also runs on ordered stacks. The Daily Challenge deals everyone the same puzzle each day, with a board to climb, and duels let two friends play the identical deal on their own phones.
The first game comes with a short walk-through, and each pile takes on its category's color as it is opened, so the table fills with color as it is solved. Beating a boss level opens a Bonus Round with no clock. Coins are earned by winning, never sold: they rescue a level that is slipping away and buy new card backs.
It is quiet by design: no ads, no tracking, and nothing to buy but one optional unlock.
